links for video on the left bar uses #! on the url instead of ?

when i click on a video on the left bar, it links to something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=XXXX and for some weird reason the player says "old flash upgrade" well i use the latest version of the player... if ichange the url to something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5OS0b0GGxI oh it magically works!
