Verification code not provided by text or phone call with a colombian cell number

I tried uploading a video, and youtube.com says I need to verify my account. I clicked on the link to verify it, and then it says I need to give my phone number. I chose "Colombia" as the country and selected to be provided a six digit number by phone text message. Nothing happens. Have tried also the option of being called, and nothing works as well... Have tried entering the country code number and nothing. Also have tried entering the numbers as in the example below with the spaces, and still the same. What's happening? Can someone in Google help me out?

No debes ingresar indicativos o prefijos, solo el número de celular y ya (Por ejemplo: 3171230011). Quizás quieras probar con un número de otro operador.

20 minutos después de ingresar esta entrada, me llegaron un montón de text messages con el número de verificación... No sé si se trataba del estado del tiempo ayer, o qué... Pero ya lo logré. Muchas gracias.
