Your AdSense account allows you to manage your YouTube earnings. 

If you later decide that you would also like to implement AdSense on your own website, we ask that you provide us with the URL where you plan to show ads. To submit this one-time application form, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your AdSense account under http://www.google.com/adsense and navigate to “Account Settings”. 

2. Under “Access & authorization”, check the “Sites authorized to show ads” section. Currently, it will say “Only host sites are allowed to show ads for your account”. 

3. Clicking on “edit” will take you to the upgrade application form.

4. After you submit the form, you will then have access to the ad code that is needed to show ads on your website. You can find it in the “My Ads” tab in your AdSense account.
To receive live ads, you need to implement the ad code on a live page on your website that receives traffic. For help adding the code to your pages, visit our Code Implementation Guide athttps://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?&topic=28895&answer=181952&parent=28893&rd=1. Once our system detects impressions for your ad code, we will automatically begin the final review step. We cannot complete our review of your application until you have placed the AdSense code on your site and are sending us ad requests. 

If your application is approved, you will get access to the ad code in your AdSense account that will allow you to monetize your own website. 

If your application is not approved, your ad serving on YouTube will not be affected and you can continue monetizing your YouTube content, as well as other host partner websites that allow you to implement AdSense ads.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Once ads begin to appear, please don’t click on your own ads or encourage others to do so, even to test them -- doing so isn't permitted by the AdSense program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies).
