Citando las palabras de Brian, un empleado de YouTube:
''Hey - thanks for your feedback. This is the sort of change that doesn't make any sense whatsoever on the surface since we didn't replace it with anything; apologies for not providing a better explanation until now. We love the Insight module too, and it hurt to remove it. And no conspiracy here - it wasn't to make you watch more partner videos, to push more "corporate content," etc etc.
So why'd we do it? Long story short, we're starting to look at new ways the homepage can be a better way to find what you want to watch (based on subs, etc). There are plenty of people who visit the homepage every day, but there are many more who don't. We want to make the page more useful for everyone (and thus more visited). But most of the ideas we have revolve around the left hand side of the homepage being exclusively a place for videos. In order to try those ideas out, we unfortunately needed to remove the Insight module.
Again, it's definitely a bummer that we removed it, but I hope we can get your support for the change one day - if we're able to build a better homepage, it'll mean more views & visibility to your videos, and hopefully you'd be willing to trade the Insight homepage module in exchange for your stuff performing better on-site.''
