Thanks for posting and reporting this issue to the Chrome forum!
If the failed network error message appears, please try the following:
- Make sure Chrome is updated
- Try using a new Chrome profile. This will clear out any problematic extensions that may have been installed on your previous profile.
- Scan for malware
