Hi!

I use Google Chrome as my main Internet browser

Recently I started seeing some kind of magnifying glass in an orange icon at the bottom right corner of every site and page I visited. I didin't know what that was about.

When I clicked on it, it gave me the options:
-Settings
-Contact Us
-Close
-About

Non of the options seemed to work, except close, which would get the magnifying glass out of my sight, only to reappear in another page I try to visit; and "Contact us" which would open my gmail and got it ready to deliver a message to sup...@tofind.info

I did not install such extension, It doesn't appear in my extensions management page; and I CERTAINLY don't want it.

Is there a way to remove it?

Thanks!

Hola Jaime, ¿has probado con todas las extensiones inhabilitadas? Podría tener un nombre distinto...

Saludos.

Hi Aileen, I've been having the exact same problem as you! It comes and goes, right now my browsing is normal. Did you find a solution to this /src problem?

The ToFind toolbar gave me the option to hide it, but I'm pretty sure it is still installed in my computer. I'll keep searching to find some way to get rid of it.

Sofia, I found out that it was a part of one of my Chrome extensions. In my case, it was an extension called X-notifier, but if you Google the term "ToFind," you can find a few other extensions that people have noticed this problem in. I'd suggest turning your extensions off one-by-one to see which one is causing the problem for you. Hope this helps!

I have X-notifier too! Glad to finally know what the problem was. Thanks a lot, it has been bothering me for a few weeks.

I disabled the plugin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/whois-for-google-chrome/jmmjpmkbadbdjphkkbmfchoidgbpnppg
Whois for Google chrome which disabled the "toFind"
