Language setup Problem

I have my default language set to English but everything from the HELP page to this form for submitting this question is coming up Spanish and it's really pissing me off. The only way I can view this is activating the Translate option and setting it from Spanish to English. This is ridiculous. I don't even have Spanish listed in the settings. What the hell is going on? Hopefully someone can help me fix this or I'll be uninstalling Chrome by the day’s end.

Hi Ronald Bess,

I'm sorry to hear that. I will provide you answer on how to change display language in Google Chrome, check this out:

Windows

The browser interface language is used for browser menus and dialogs and it's based on the language you selected when you first downloaded Google Chrome.

In Windows, follow these steps to change this setting:

  1. Click Language and input settings to open the "Languages" dialog.
  2. Select the language you'd like to use from the list. If the language isn't listed, first add it as one of your preferred webpage languages by clicking Add.
  3. On the right panel, click Display Google Chrome in this language.
  4. Restart the browser to apply the changes.

Mac currently determines the browser interface language by the Language & Text setting in System Preferences. To learn how to update your system language, visit Apple Computer’s Support.

About webpage language preferences, follow these steps:

Webpage language preferences help Google Chrome determine the language it should use to display a webpage. To adjust your preferences, first click Languages and input settings (Mac & Linux: Language settings) to open the "Languages" dialog. Add or remove languages from the list, and drag to order them based on your preference.

If you're using Windows, you may need to configure your Windows language settings to add East Asian languages or languages that use complex scripts.

Only add the languages you need, because malicious websites can use similar-looking characters from different languages to mislead you about the web address you're visiting.

By the way, this forum is in Spanish,  I answered because it seems you had language issue, but in normal circumstances, you could ask in English Google Chrome's forum ;)

Cheers,
