I love Google products, i m not an "computer guy" actually i under use my laptop. Anyhow, since a moment i m waiting and hoping to have an option in google chrome, something like "mute the site", for example if u have a few tabs open in ur browser next to the close button an option that will allow to mute the site, without having to mute the whole laptop, or to look for the source of the sound (annoying video pub that will start abruptly, or if u want to see a video in youtube and u have grooveshark running, you can mute grooveshark without stoping the music) . This will allow the user to have a bigger control of his browsing experience, for example if u re playing an internet game that doesn't have the option to mute, you won't be forced to stop your music coz the sound of the games are at the same time that Freddy Mercury is signing in ur laptop. I know a few people that wait this since a long time and i'm quite sure that if u do this everyone will be addicted to this
